And yes, XX means this is the 20th iteration of the STEAM Hunt! That's simply amazing and we need to celebrate! Let your Steampunk / Victoriana creativity run wild!

A BIT OF HISTORY: Did you know STEAM stands for Steampunk Travelers Event Adventure & Megahunt? Created in 2009 by our Mayor Perryn Peterson, STEAM was SL's first-ever grid-wide Steampunk hunt. In the early years, the STEAM Hunt was offered more than once a year - that's how we are now at our 20th iteration of this fun and beloved Hunt. :))

➜ Choice: You can choose to participate in either the Grid-Wide Hunt, the Event Themed Markets, or both!
* For the Grid-Wide Hunt, you create a themed gift (or timeless gift) and hide it in your own shop, following our standard guidelines.
* For the Event, we will have Themed Markets on Mieville sims. You apply to participate, then choose a booth and put some of your products there for sale. Ideally, some of your products will be in-theme.
Entertainments: We will have wonderful DJ dances & performances! Please plan to attend - they are SO much fun! (Additional ideas? Let us know!)
Theme: The Waltz of the Automatons
➜ So for gifts, think about something that might go with that theme OR any general Steampunk / Victoriana items OR timeless stuff (flowers! pets!), etc. Steampunk or Victoriana dance or celebration things? Sure! Clothing? Sure! Romance or anniversary things? Sure! (We're pretty flexible.)
Game & Prizes! We also hope to develop a fun mini-hunt game that will take you through Mieville sims & Themed Market areas collecting specific items to earn points you can use to get free gifts!
