 THEME:  NO THEME!!!

Have fun and show us what you can do! Second Life or Real Life, I'm sure you all can think of something special you do that you want to share!

Everyone is welcome, whether you show or watch. Remember to wear your Mieville tag so you can rez your items.

Showing our talents and what we do and enjoy brings the community closer together and allows us to all be a part of improving it and making it a great place to live, work and socialize.

It is always fun to show our work, discuss our plans, get suggestions to get us thinking and perhaps we can even help each other in our endeavors.

Come join us!

The Giving Tree

There is Giving Tree in the Event Room of the Welcome Center in Doyle. It's a Cookie tree with a sign letting folks know to touch the packages to receive the gifts. Any Merchant can set a gift down near the tree as a free gift. Remember to put a landmark so they can find you. I know we all tend to have gifts at events but this is a chance to introduce yourself when there isn't an event.

In the Event Room of the Welcome Center in Doyle, you'll find a remarkable Giving Tree. This unique tree is adorned with delightful packages, and a sign kindly instructs visitors to touch the packages to receive the gifts. Any merchant is welcome to place a free gift near the tree, providing an opportunity to introduce themselves. Don't forget to include a landmark to help others locate you. It's a wonderful chance to connect even when there isn't a specific event taking place.

Mieville Colors!

I organized a color palette demonstration during the monthly Community Meeting. The idea for this project originated from a suggestion made by Carline Thistle Studley Moon in a group chat. During the conversation, Sebby mentioned the concept of a Mieville tartan. After the meeting on the tenth, I discussed the specific details of the two colors with Gil Otaared. She provided valuable information, and those two colors (Scheele's green and Mauveine) have now been included.

Figuratively speaking, I went back to the drawing board and revamped the palette, creating example textures as well. These textures will be presented to the merchants of Mieville as a gift.

In the future, these colors may be used in our community's branding process and various endeavors. However, using them in their creative work is optional for merchants; we would never impose any requirements on their creative process. As for the Terms of Service (TOS) for the textures, the only expectation is to have fun with them. Feel free to share the textures if you'd like.

Please note that this project was created as a courtesy, and I hope it offers inspiration to everyone involved. (Gift in The Group notice and also in the Entertainment Office in the Welcome Center.)
