Get ready for the Renaissance Faire & Grid-wide Hunt...!

Hi, all — Are you ready? The annual Mieville Historical Hunts Renaissance Faire & Grid-wide Hunt are coming your way on Sept. 1! This marks the 13th year for Mieville's grid-wide Renaissance Hunt and maybe the 10th year for the accompanying Renaissance Faire. That's a lot of history: give a shout out if you remember those earliest years! 

What do we have planned? Well, there are about 50 merchants scheduled for the grid-wide Hunt and a bit more for the Renaissance Faire. 

• The Faire will feature a themed-market with a huge variety of fabulous items for sale, plus games, gifts, amusements, and its own hunt quest, all of this taking place at the Faire site!
• The Hunt will take you across the Grid as you search for wonderful free gifts provided by our generous participating merchants! I know there will be at least one mini-hunt (ahem - chez moi) and lots of fun at each site as you explore the shops and sites. Plan to visit them all!

For the Hunt: this year we will use this blog to list all the participating shops and merchants, landmarks, and photos of some of the gifts. We will also have a hunt website that lists the participating shops and provides a direct tp to the site.

• Hunters: We will release the shop list & slurls on Sept. 1 - be watching! We will also announce over our various inworld groups!
• Psst, merchants: if you haven't sent Meadow your photo and deets yet to get on the Blog, now's the time! Use the "Get Blogged" notecard in your merchant box. And please link your logo to the online website; contact me with any ?? about that.)  

For the Faire, the Admin team have created a beautiful village for you to explore as you wander among the merchant carts and houses and have fun. Below is a sneak peak:
