Renaissance Hunt XIV - A Few Highlights!

A lot has been going on and our dear friend Meadow is still out, but here are a few TRH XIV highlights!

✨  Music Events: Wow! We've had two so far and 3 more to come, every Saturday! 

🎉 Next dance is Sat. Sept 27 @ 6:00-8:00pm: Dance with DJ Talon! All are welcome! Don't miss out - check out our schedule! 

The Illumination Show on Sept 13 by Mrs Lollo and Evermore Noel was spectacular! Great visual effects, great music, and non-stop dancing. Simply wonderful!

For a complete change of pace, on Sept 20 Talon performed a very fun and authentic acoustic set, singing traditional English, Irish, and Scottish songs, with some jokes interspersed! Yours truly danced the whole time while greeting and seating arrivals. Talon's performance was entertaining and so much fun!

✨ Twain's Themed Market for TRH XIV is a Romani Camp, in honor of Perryn. 

Back in the day, Perryn's Ren Hunt Markets very often included a Romani section with colorful vardos, campfires, and wandering chickens. Yours truly almost always chose a small blue vardo at the site. In that vein, for XIV I designed a forest-y Romani camp, complete with yummy edible mushrooms, wandering chickens, and restive deer -- that is, along with merchant wares in colorful vardos. Should you get hungry while wandering through the forest and shopping, stop by the Bibliothèque's vardo for a bowl of nourishing gulyas and a drink of cool pure water!

✨ And of course TRH XIV features a fun Grid-Wide hunt with almost 60 stops! 

I'm behind schedule this time and have only just started visiting the shops! Luckily TRH XIV goes through Oct. 12 so still plenty of time for me, phew! :)  But here are photos of the first few shops...

The Grid-wide Hunt starts at Mieville's Welcome Center on the Doyle sim. Here I am outside the Welcome Center, looking around for the hidden gift. Hmmm... where could it be?

Next stop is Kittycat's Creations, where a gent offered me some refreshments... Dear Reader, I said yes! This shop specializes in all manner of unique drinks on serving platters. Try them out!

After finding that gift, I headed to Beachglass Gardens. Wow, this large outdoor area is super pretty! I'm in love with these greenhouses!!

Then off to [noctis], a shop I remember fondly from the earliest days that I participated in Mieville hunts as a hunter. [noctis] has such a distinctive quirky Victorian and goth style - love it!

Well, that's about as far as I've gotten, but wanted to give you all a taste of TRH XIV so far! :)  ♥
