After consulting with another admin, I decided to employ the power of surveys to address this issue. With the hope of clarifying whether earlier events would be useful, I launched a short survey with just five questions. Despite the limited response capacity of the free version of surveymonkey.com, the survey received an impressive 25 responses. The results of the survey were illuminating. The most popular time slot for events based on sl time (PST) was 2 to 4 pm. Additionally, classes were the most sought-after type of event, with group tours and rp being two new options that were added. Most importantly, there were several more yeses than noes when asked if people would attend.
Buoyed by the success of the survey, I spoke with two people, Anna and Farz, who will be piloting new weekly events. The possibilities are endless, and I cannot wait to see how these new events will benefit our community.
Going forward, we will continue to tailor our schedule to cater to the diverse needs of our members. We will also use surveys and other resources to identify and address any issues that arise. As an admin, I want every member of our community to know that they can bring their concerns, questions, or suggestions to us, and we will do our very best to address them.
In conclusion, the success of this survey is a testament to the power of communication and compromise. By actively listening to our members and using innovative solutions, we can create a virtual community that truly caters to the diverse needs of its members. The possibilities are endless, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for our community.
